DRM Partners, Inc. is an independent organization founded by Susan Pensabene and Mary Ram—experienced, respected leaders in the Direct Response Media industry.
SUSAN PENSABENE — Partner
Susan has more than 30 years of DR experience. She began her career at Wunderman in 1973, where she helped form the country’s first full-service DRTV agency. She then joined Rapp Collins to launch the Media Department, and later headed the Broadcast Media Division of Grey Direct. In the late ’80s she formed her own agency—Shain, Colavito, Pensabene (SCP)—which eventually was sold to Omnicom and folded into Rapp Collins’ Media Department.
MARY RAM — Partner
Mary launched her career in the mid-’80s at A. Eicoff in Chicago, where she was a Broadcast Buyer and Account Supervisor. She went on to direct the launch of Time-Life’s in-house media buying group in Alexandria, VA. Later, she spent eight years at SCP/Rapp Collins, where she served as Broadcast Director. Her experience also includes a stint as SVP, Director of Client Service, at IPG’s ID Media (the agency formed by Media Direct Partners, Western Direct, True North, and Draft Direct).
NICOLA BRATHWAITE — Senior Account Supervisor
With more than 25 years of experience in Direct Response, Nicky has participated in many evolutions and improvements in the industry. She has lent her expertise in telecommunications and account management to an array of clients, including Time, Inc.; GE; Intuit; US Navy; Citibank; Mobil; Columbia House; Kaiser Permanente; AIG; Travelocity; Clorox; Mercedes Benz; DIRECTV; Ralston Purina; and Sunsetter. Nicky’s career began at Wunderman, Ricotta and Klein in the Broadcast Buying group. She later moved to Grey Direct and ultimately headed the Traffic Department as Director. Nicky joined SCP Direct (later SCP/Rapp Collins/OMD) as VP/Traffic and Telemarketing. In 2005, she became VP of Performance Based Media at Zenith Direct, where her negotiation skills helped clients achieve effective ROI.
ANDREA HICKS — Account Supervisor
Andrea began her career as a Media Analyst in the late ’90s with Media Direct Partners Inc., gaining experience in the many aspects of Direct Response TV media. She quickly transitioned to the Account Management team, where she honed her client-service skills for a diverse set of clients. After a brief stint at OgilvyOne as a Print and Digital Buyer, she joined DRM Partners as an Account Director/Media Buyer. She’s responsible for implementing all aspects of DRTV campaigns—from planning, to buying and managing media, to many other tasks necessary to deliver outstanding client service.
SARA LANDRIES — Account Executive, Media Buyer
Sara is a graduate of The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH. After graduating, she moved to Hoboken to begin her career as a Media Assistant with DRM Partners. Shortly after beginning at DRM Partners, she soon was promoted to a position at a sister agency, Pro Media Group. At Pro Media Group, she helped grow the company as a Media Coordinator. She later rejoined DRM Partners and quickly transitioned to a Media Buyer/Account Executive. In 2016, she transferred to DRM Partners’ satellite office in Columbus, OH, where she is responsible for buying and managing multiple local accounts.
